Jean H. Clark was born in New Rochelle, N.Y. in 1947. 
For many years she was senior designer for Glassmasters, a New York City stained glass studio that designed original pieces for the gift trade and reproduced Tiffany and LaFarge windows for the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Boston Museum.

She studied drawing, painting and printmaking at the Art Students League and textile design at the Fashion Institute of Technology, both in New York City. She has attended printmaking workshops at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. and with Sunghee Park at the Arts Center in Troy, N.Y.  

Jean lives and works in Greenwich, N.Y.
